The Family

Here is our family. All together under one roof.  Doesn't happen often enough, but we sure love it when it does.

I (Cyndi) have been married to Carl for almost 33 years.  What an adventure it has been! God has been so kind as to bless us with 5 great kids, 1 lovely daughter-in-law and 2 adorable grandsons. (Adjectives added may reflect bias...)

Chase is 28.  After graduating from Texas A&M, he spent 2 years working with special needs kids at the local high school.  It was a difficult job, but one he did well.  Last spring he moved to Colorado to work at a Presbyterian camp called Highlands located near Boulder. Right now he is working as a cook.

Nick is 26 and his wife, Stephanie is 24.  They married in November of 2010 and the Lord almost immediately blessed them with a twin pregnancy.  Travis and Bryce were born in September of 2011.  Stephanie quit her job so she could stay home with the boys and Nick is working for a commercial construction firm in downtown Fort Worth.

Krisi is also 24.  She graduated from Hardin Simmons University in Abilene, TX in May of 2011 with a degree in Communication and Advertising. (She designed my blog, by the way.) She moved to Minneapolis in January and she is working for an online magazine called Prodigal doing some writing and editing. She is also working part-time for Apple computer. 

Kelsey is 21 and a Junior at Dallas Baptist University, majoring in music business which she loves.  When she is not in classes, she is working in the International office on campus.  Clearly, this is an exciting time for each of these 20-something kids of ours as they trust God for the future.

Janae is 16 and a sophomore in high school.  She is our "late in life" gift from the Lord and keeps Carl and me young.
